The oil filter is equipped with by-pass valve to prevent excessive pressure difference, resulting in unnecessary downtime and equipment failure. When the oil filter works for a certain time and the pressure difference reaches the opening pressure set by the by-pass valve, the ball valve is pushed open. The oil goes directly into the main oil channel to protect the safe operation of the main engine. \
